Victoria will be Malta's European Capital of Culture in 2031. (Maybe). It will share the title with one of the 12 Spanish cities that have decided to apply.

After Valletta (in 2018), Victoria and Birgu are candidates to become the European Capital of Culture in 2031.For the two Maltese towns, this is a unique opportunity to showcase a remarkable cultural heritage and become a magnet for millions of tourists and travellers for a whole year.
