Jerez2031 publishes the call for applications for the technical and artistic coordinator of the 2031 European Capital of Culture bid.

In 2031, Malta and Spain will be the countries designating the European Capitals of Culture. For Spain, there are already several candidate cities such as Jerez.

Coinciding with the announcement by the Minister of Culture of Spain about the begining of the process of selection for the European Capital of Culture in 2031, a new application named #BurgosisCulture2031 was launched on Friday 10th January.

After Valletta (in 2018), Victoria and Birgu are candidates to become the European Capital of Culture in 2031.For the two Maltese towns, this is a unique opportunity to showcase a remarkable cultural heritage and become a magnet for millions of tourists and travellers for a whole year.

Burgos, one of the candidate cities to be the European Capital of Culture for Spain in 2031, has launched a call for artists to be included in its cultural programme, specifically in the project 'Sala Negra' in Forum Evolucion.
